We are so excited to introduce ourselves as the Winona State University campus committee members for this year. We are eager to collaborate as a committee to make real and effective changes through student advocacy this school year.

Meet our Campus Coordinator, Clara. Clara is sophomore and a Math Education and History Education major. In her free time, she enjoys watching Netflix and coloring. 

Students United is important to her because she believes that as a committee we have the voice on campus to advocate for our peers in a way that they wouldn’t have access to. She’s most looking forward to working with the other campus committees to make a change this year for higher education policy on a university, system, and state level. 

Movie she’d take on a desert island: Either a John Mulaney special, a Iliza Shlesinger special, or Lord of the Flies to help her survive.

Meet our diversity specialist, Eric. Eric is a freshman studying Psychology and Political Science. His favorite hobbies are golfing and reading.

Students United is important to him because he believes in giving students a voice on campus. He is most looking forward to getting to know a lot of people on campus and creating a change that lasts.

Lauren is one of our Issues Specialists, she’s a senior studying Music and Psychology. She enjoys listening to music, playing piano, singing, and reading. 

Students United is important to her because it can advocate for students. She’s really looking forward to advocating and working with this committee, and students and faculty on campus.

Sarah is our other Issues Specialist, she’s a sophomore majoring in Public Administration and Political Science, and she’s minoring in Accounting. Her favorite way to spend her free time is working out. 

It’s important to Sarah that students know they have a voice on campus. She is most looking forward to getting involved in working on textbook affordability this year.

Meet our legislative specialist, Holden. He’s a junior majoring in Political Science and Public Administration. Holden loves spending his time playing soccer. 

He believes Students United is important because it gives every student a large voice on what they need to be extremely successful in school. He’s really looking forward to learning how the government operates this year.

Meet out Public Relations specialist, Hannah. Hannah is a senior and is a Public Relations major and a Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality studies minor. Her favorite ways to pass the time are photography, watching movies, and being with animals.

Students United is important to her because she believes student advocacy work is going to change the world for the better and Students United is giving students the voice to do so. She is most looking forward to getting to make connections with her committee and the students.
