Welcome, Arnavee!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Arnavee Maltare and I am delighted to represent and serve the Students of Minnesota State as the Vice Chair of Students United. I joined Minnesota State University, Mankato as an international student from India. I am currently majoring in Management Information Systems and Business Administration. I plan to work hard and give my best towards representing the students and make sure that our goals are achieved.

I started my journey with Students United 2 years ago. At first, I attended the conference held at Winona State University and then served as the Campus Coordinator of the Students United campus staff, followed by serving as the Vice President at MNSU. During this time, I also joined multiple Students United committees. I’m glad I worked with passionate student senates to ensure that international health insurance was revised, to support diversity and inclusion around campus by introducing halal food for the students, and helping address multiple other student issues.

I have always enjoyed advocating for students and working toward improving our education experience so that students get what they deserve: the best! I was driven towards advocacy after coming to the United States. Being a student myself, I understood the issues students were facing. That is when I realized the need for advocacy and how crucial student representation is! Since then, I have always supported student representation in different areas of academia. I hope we as students are able to achieve the goals of the organization and work towards representing our students in the best possible way.

Apart from this, I enjoy painting, reading books, traveling, and playing volleyball. I hope to learn more languages, travel more, and continue to make a little progress every day in my life. My goal is to keep moving forward and never stop learning.

We all can make a difference, so why don’t we! So, let’s get this work started!
